Recently TTcombat has started selling STLs for their Carnevale models (Carnevale @Carnevale – MyMiniFactory). To my understanding this is currently for alternate sculpts except for the two starter gangs you get in the welcome pack, you get a full Guild and Rashaar gang.
You can buy some of the files individually for $5 (£3.81) or there is a monthly subscription of $10 (£7.61) to get files early and at a cheaper price along with a welcome bundle.
The welcome bundle has two starter gangs Guild and Rashaar, as well as a PDF for some paper buildings along with a set of textured bases and alternate sculpts for the venetian noble, the Hospodar, Vatican exorcist and the plague doctor. Lastly the welcome bundle includes a gondola.
The month I got the subscription with is the first so we only have one to look at. In the November (2025) bundle you get a chiesa cupola, a set of tiles, a bridge, wall plaques and an alternate model for the Capodecina.
As a test I printed the alternate sculpts for the capodecina, the exorcist, the plague doctor and the Hospodar along with some civilians a gondolier and a gondola. For all of these I used the provided pre-supported version.
The only misprint I had was the right arm of the plague doctor which didn’t print at all and his cloak has a rough gap where it connects to the rest of the model that needs to be filled. Otherwise the models came out perfectly, each of them are well made and print well.
This is an excellent way of getting into the game for someone who has a 3D printer and doesn’t want to spend too much money to try the game, hopefully this will get more people to try the game. As far as I know it is still necessary to buy the models themselves as most will not be available as an STL.
I recommend the STLs to anyone who already has a 3D printer and wants to try the game on a budget (although you are limited in gang choices) or if you want to expand your collection or try a different gang. It’s also a great way to diversify the table a little, instead of every guild player having the same capodecina there is now another option available.
